Courses taught at GT-Shenzhen will follow the existing GT course catalog. Each course consists of 21 classes conducted over an 11-week period, including a mid-term exam. The final exam takes place soon after the last class. Each course has 2,250 contact minutes and earns 3 credit hours.
Classes will be taught by GT professors or adjunct professors on rotational assignment from Atlanta.
All classes will be taught in English and follow standard GT guidelines for instruction, student assessment and course evaluation.
Students will register for classes online at the beginning of the semester, and complete an instructor evaluation for each of the classes at the end of the semester. In addition to classroom instruction, most professors will use T-Square to communicate course information to the students.
GT-Shenzhen courses will be taught on different days of the week or at different times of the day, thus there will be no scheduling conflict among the GT-Shenzhen courses. Enrolled students have access to the program calendar with exact class meeting days and times.
